BEGINNERS JUMPING
For genuine newcomers to showjumping; assistance, including leading, permitted.
To be run as a two phase competition – first round clears will proceed straight into a timed jump off.

CLASS 2. 2'0"
MINIMUS JUMPING
Horse and Rider as a pair not to have been placed at 2'6" or above.
To be run as a two phase competition – first round clears will proceed straight into a timed jump off.

CLASS 3. 2'3"
MIDWAY JUMPING
Horse and Rider as a pair not to have won at 2'6" or above.
To be run as a two phase competition – first round clears will proceed straight into a timed jump off.

CLASS 4. 2'6"
NOVICE JUMPING
Horse and Rider as a pair not to have been placed at an Affiliated BSJA show.
To be run as a two phase competition – first round clears will proceed straight into a timed jump off.

CLASS 5. 2'6"
SCURRY JUMPING
Open to all.
One round, against the clock. Fastest CLEAR wins. Up to two refusals will not be penalised, third entails elimination. Knock downs incur faults.

CLASS 6. 2'9"
INTERMEDIATE JUMPING
Open to all.
To be run as a two phase competition – first round clears will proceed straight into a timed jump off.

All riders entered will be required to pay £2.00 for First Aid Cover as condition of entry.
Each On-line entry restricted to one horse and rider pair.
If wishing to enter other riders /horses please make separate on-line booking.

RULES AND CONDITIONS.

Entry implies knowledge and acceptance of the rules and conditions by competitors and/or their guardians.
The judges’ decisions are final.
Horseboxes must not be mucked out on the showground or in the parking area and all litter is to be placed in the bins provided.
No horse or pony may be entered more than once in any class.
No horse or pony under the age of 4 may compete in any class.
No refund of entry will be made unless a doctor’s or vet’s certificate is supplied (except in the event of show cancellation – the organisers reserve the right to retain 25% of the entry fee to cover administration costs).
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without stating a reason for doing so.
The organisers reserve the right to close entries for any class and to vary the order, timing or composition of the schedule if considered expedient.
The organisers reserve the right to exclude from the showground anyone who is acting in a disruptive manner.
Competitors must report to the ring steward 15 minutes before the start of the class. Those competitors not ready at the time given may be eliminated.
Any horse or pony considered being a hazard or apparently not under control will be asked to leave the showground, and entry fees forfeited.
Anyone ill treating an animal will be asked to leave the showground, and entry fees forfeited.
Any objections must be lodged with the secretary in writing with a £10 deposit and within 10 minutes of the class ending.
Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, neither the organisers of any event to which the rules apply nor the B.H.S./B.S.J.A. nor any agents, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever.

NO DOGS ALLOWED ON PREMISES.

Competitions will be run under BSJA rules. Hats must be approved to PAS015 / EN1834 standard and must be worn at all times whilst mounted. Back protectors are strongly recommended for all jumping classes.

Please bring your own water for horses.

PARKING IS LIMITED and HORSES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE TIED UP OUTSIDE HORSEBOXES OR TRAILERS.
