At Shannon Leigh Stables your horse will be treated like one of the family! and so will you!

We have a mixture at livery here, from a shetland pony, a show pony, the good reliable cob, and the competition horse!

Some of our liveries just like to hack, and some liveries like to compete, we have weekly rallies, flatwork and jumping that any livery can join in!

Clear Round Jumping is held in the Summer months and Dressage Series is held in the Winter months.

We have fantastic hacking adjacent to our gate in Joydens Wood, so you never have to set foot on a Bexley road!

We are in easy access to the M25 M20 A2 motorways making it very easy to get to competitions.

We are situated 15 miles from central London but in rural Bexley countryside, so we have the best of both worlds.

Bexley train station is 10 minutes walk away for commuting from London to Kent.

Our horses our treated as individuals and are turned out everyday in well maintained fields, stables mucked out thoroughly everyday, fed only the best brands of feed as to their individual needs!

We have an extra large floodlit sand school which never floods, for our liveries, fantastic set of Show Jumps, Dressage markers and Arena, a few Cross Country schooling fences, ie Ditch, Bank, and Steps!

We have a hot shower room for your horse and a hot shower room for you too!

We have ample secure parking space for our liveries trailers and horseboxes.

Our stables are 12' x12' and our barn boxes are 12' x 16' with outside doors for safety!
All our stables are wall to wall carpeted with E.V.A. matting for protection and warmth, all have water drinkers.

We have well maintained fields which are seeded and fertilised yearly.

Our fencing is Electric and Post and rail only and we seperate mares and geldings into small groups to avoid any accidents.

We have a strict worming programme for all the livery horses and our own.

If you would like other services i.e. grooming and lungeing, we can do that for you also, but at extra cost.

Our staff are chosen for their experience dedication and gentleness towards our horses!
